We do company picnics a little differently here at Broadmoor.
This past Thursday, we hosted our annual Crawfish Boil and celebrated this quarter’s featured Core Value: We Treat Our People Like Family. This event was sponsored by Broadmoor NEXT, our leadership development program. Continue reading to learn more about this unique Broadmoor event!
Tailgate Inspired
BRM NEXT created a welcoming, warm event encouraging conversation and celebrating We Treat Our People Like Family.
The event was hosted at the Main Office, allowing attending employees to access the event after the work day easily. Tents, picnic tables, and cornhole transformed the parking lot. NEXT collaborated with the Marketing Department to create custom event merchandise to commemorate the occasion: each employee received burlap koozies, a sleek metal bottle cap opener, and a set of four crawfish trays. Each employee was also encouraged to enter the Prize Raffle – a collection of items ranging from gift cards to a complete Crawfish Boil set.

Food is Served
Hourly and salaried workers enjoyed shrimp, crawfish, and jambalaya.
We loved getting to reconnect with familiar coworkers and make new friends.
