New Orleans Career Center is a nonprofit trade school providing high-quality technical education for local high school students and the greater New Orleans adult workforce. This renovation and expansion of the iconic McDonough 35 High School in the historic Treme neighborhood provides the space and infrastructure to expand technical training opportunities for in-demand jobs: Healthcare, Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management, Technology, Building & Engineering, and more. The educational facility required high-level technical scopes to support hands-on learning for each unique trade program, including a clinic and hospital simulation labs, a fully functional ambulance bay, CAD lab and maker space, a commercial-grade kitchen and catering space, and a huge outdoor construction collaboration area.
