[vc_column width=”3/4″][wpc_custom_heading heading=”The Project” colored_line=”yes” size=”medium”][vc_column_text]Broadmoor completed the new Dining Commons on Tulane’s campus, which is consistent with the successful building delivery the Broadmoor team provided to Tulane on the Business Complex in 2017.
The new construction, 3-story, 77,000 square foot building houses a state-of-the-art dining facility, and a new home for the Newcomb College Institute.  With complex site logistics, and a custom curtainwall made-up of over 1,500 pieces of glass, the project team maintained a focus on safety, as the adjacent buildings and quad were operational for the duration of this project.  Broadmoor eliminated disruptions to the operating campus, and turned the project over on-time.
As the project’s CM@R, Broadmoor was tasked to maintain the project’s budget and fast-paced schedule, while providing value engineering options that did not compromise the design-intent. Broadmoor proposed several cost and schedule saving options, most notably our constructability review of the structural steel erection. Broadmoor was able to propose alternate steel design options in order to eliminate the tower crane from the project, and eliminate several steel members that carried a six-month lead-time.
Broadmoor is proud of the work we have completed for this esteemed institution.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”blue” border_width=”2″][vc_column_text]
