Broadmoor’s additional work for the all new Tulane Campus Dining Commons was consistent with and complimented the original building delivery our team provided Tulane in 2017 – for the university’s Goldring-Woldenberg Business Complex. The new construction of the three-story 77,000-Sqft building houses a state-of-the-art dining facility and is also the home for the

Newcomb College Institute. With complex site logistics, and a custom curtainwall made-up of over 1,500 pieces of glass, the project team maintained a focus on safety, as the adjacent buildings and quad were operational for the duration of this project. Broadmoor eliminated disruptions to the operating campus, and turned the project over on-time.

Broadmoor, as the project’s CMR, was tasked with maintaining the project’s budget and fast-paced schedule, while providing value engineering options that did not compromise any of the design-intent. Broadmoor proposed several cost and schedule saving options – most notably our constructability review of the structural steel erection -which proposed alternate steel design options which eliminated need for the tower crane for the project and eliminated several steel members that carried a six-month lead-time.

Broadmoor is proud of the work we have completed for this esteemed institution.
