NOMA Café & Auditorium Renovations

Owner: New Orleans Museum of Art

Architect: Eskew + Dumez + Ripple

Completion Date: November 2020

Nestled in the heart of New Orleans’ beloved City Park, the New Orleans Museum of completed the expansion and renovation to the NOMA Cafe, Auditorium, and Courtyard in October of 2020 with Broadmoor as the general contractor. The main features include an auditorium with a new fully integrated audio-visual system as well as a custom skylight in the historic courtyard. Our use of laser scanning to achieve the vision of the owner and architect were integral to turning over the NOMA Cafe and Auditorium project one month early.

The number of personnel and the amount of time Broadmoor gave to our project exceeded our expectations. Experienced people were at the table commenting on best practices, experience with subcontractors, and safe processes. There were no hidden agendas and all the work taking place was open for us to review, comment on, and make mutual decisions.”
