expanded its hospital in downtown New Orleans with the addition of a ten-story
building adjacent to its existing facilities.

This expansion to the VA Medical
Center was designed to provide patients with an environment for rehabilitative
living. The building consists of 440,000 square feet, with the ground floor
providing the outpatient Drug Dependency Treatment Unit. Eight levels of parking garage climb to the
remaining top two floors which contains the Lindy Claiborne Boggs 120 Bed
Nursing Home Care Unit.
